Western Australian Council for Safety and Quality in Health Care
- The Western Australian Council for Safety and Quality in Health Care ('the Council') was established in August 2002
- The main role and function of the Council is to provide high level strategic advice to the Director General of Health and the Minister for Health on system-wide safety and quality issues and to provide strategic direction and leadership for quality improvement in WA. - The Council is actively working with the Office of Safety and Quality in Healthcare, health professionals and community members to progress the core work areas of the Western Australian Strategic Plan for Safety and Quality in Health Care 2008-2013 (PDF 578KB)
- Membership of the Council is multi-disciplinary and is drawn from a range of health care professionals, community representatives, administrators and quality experts. View the current list of members (PDF 51KB).
